***** Anxious, scared and confused *****
The road they were driving down was leading through a field. There wasn’t much
to look at, only a small lake to the right and a few cows and horses on the
left. It wasn’t a nice field, its grass burned so much it was an unpleasant
shade of yellow, making it seem like the animals were standing and laying in a
sea of piss. The sun was high on the sky indicating it was around noon. The
weather was too hot to be enjoyable, a kind of heat that can be only tolerated
under the protection of a shade and a cool drink.
Hoseok was irritated. His arms were sweaty, making them stuck to the cheap faux
leather seat. He reached up to swipe at his forehead, grimacing at the sound
his arm made when he plied it away from the seat. He tried to dress as lightly
as he could, but considering his lacking wardrobe, he didn’t have too many
choices. He was wearing his worn out white t-shirt, which was close to being
see through due to the too many years of hand washing. The jeans he was wearing
were once dark, but now faded, ripped and worn out, but still wearable. The
shoes he was wearing were new, surprisingly. He only got them this morning,
when his social worker, Chanmi refused to let him in the car in his ripped at
every edge sneakers. She had taken him to a shop, where she let Hoseok choose a
new pair. Hoseok didn’t really care, just pointed at a plain white pair with
two black stripes at the side. And now he was sitting here, his feet clad in
the most expensive piece of clothing he ever owned.
For the past hour Hoseok felt Chanmi’s gaze on him, probably wanting to start a
conversation, but not knowing how. They had been talking when they left Gwangju
but the conversation had died down after a quick stop at the gas station where
as Chanmi had been refuelling the car Hoseok saw the GPS mounted on the
dashboard showing that they had been more than halfway to their destination. He
grew so anxious that it had made speaking too hard, so he hadn’t tried to start
a conversation again when they got back on the road. Chanmi hadn’t tried
either, probably understanding Hoseok. But now, as they were nearing Busan, she
was glancing at him more frequently, signalling she wanted to talk to him.
“Listen, Hoseok” she carefully started, “when we get there, I’m not going to be
able to go further in than the entrance hall, so I want to tell you a few
things” she sighed heavily. “The correctional officers aren’t going to be as
nice as I am. They require discipline, so no talking back, okay?” she looked at
Hoseok expectantly.
“I don’t care” answered Hoseok still looking out the window. He didn’t want to
be there, why should he behave when they’re the ones who want to keep him there
involuntarily? If they want discipline then they should just send him home.
Home, where he should be taking care of his mother. At the thought of his
mother Hoseok’s heart gave a hard tug, tears slowly wetting his eyes.
Chanmi snorted. “Well, you’ll care when they whoop your ass for being mouthy,
Hoseok.”
Hoseok didn’t say anything. He really didn’t care. They can beat him all they
want, they can even beat him to death. Maybe that would be the best.
“Hoseok, I know this sucks, but look at it like this: if you behave, maybe they
let you out sooner” said Chanmi. “And you can see your mom sooner as well” said
she softly. Hoseok tensed up. He already felt guilty for leaving his mom, but
Chanmi mentioning her made him even guiltier. Chanmi must have seen him tensing
up, seeing she reached out to rub at Hoseok’s shoulder.
“I’m sorry Hoseok” said Chanmi. Neither of them said a word for the rest of the
ride.

The gate they drove through surprisingly wasn’t all that scary. It was a simple
metal gate with a guard booth next to it. After they got through the gate, they
drove up to the parking lot situated next to the plain light brown building.
The building itself consisted of a main building and two wings. Even though
Hoseok couldn’t see it, he was sure there was a huge yard at the back.
When they parked down, Chanmi got out of the car. Hoseok sighed, then followed
her. She already opened up the trunk, taking out his bag, which was so empty it
was sagging in the middle. Hoseok took the bag from Chanmi. She closed the
trunk and locked the car, then took Hoseok’s hand – as if he’d try and run away
– leading him to the entrance. When they stepped inside Hoseok immediately felt
better due to the cool air the air conditioners wear blowing out non-stop. The
interior of the entrance hall was pleasant – everything was either beige, white
or a light brown and it looked very clean. Hoseok felt little out of place.
To their right was a sitting area with two couches and a small coffee table.
Further in was a desk at the wall with a computer and papers on it. There was
two chairs in front of the desk, so Hoseok presumed it was the registration
point. Two men were standing beside it talking, but stopped when they caught
sight of them. One of the men said something to the other, picked up a stack of
papers and a folder from the table then hurried away.
As Chanmi and Hoseok got closer he dropped her hand. He didn’t want the man to
think he was a child. The man waiting at the desk was tall with traditionally
handsome face. His features were big, he had rounded brown eyes and full lips.
He had strong brows and dark hair. Even though he was taller and more built
than Hoseok, he seemed nice and welcoming, not like the officers Chanmi was
talking about.
“Hi! My name’s Kim Seokjin, I’m the head correctional officer at Busan
Reformatory” said the man – Seokjin – bowing. “I presume you’re Song Chanmi
and…” he glanced at one of the papers on the desk “Jung Hoseok?” smiled
Seokjin.
“Yes, I’m sorry for being late” bowed Chanmi deeply. “We had to stop a few
times…” explained the social worker..
“Oh, it’s all right, don’t worry about it” said Seokjin. Hoseok felt irritated
once again. While they were busy kissing each other’s ass, Hoseok was standing
there like an idiot, growing more and more anxious, heart pounding.
“Hi Hoseok” turned Seokjin to him. “How are you?” smiled the man. Hoseok fought
the urge to roll his eyes. He was in a fucking reformatory, how could he feel
other than miserable?
“Fine” answered shortly Hoseok, making Chanmi sigh and apologize for him,
saying he was just tired. It was only 1pm. Seokjin just smiled. Hoseok started
to feel weird. Why was this man always smiling even when the situation didn’t
require it? Hoseok decided to not trust him.
“Okay, shall we start the registration?” Seokjin gestured at the chairs in
front of the desk. Chanmi and Hoseok moved to sit down, while Seokjin went
around and sat down at the computer. “I already have his information here, I
just want to make sure everything’s correct, okay?” said Seokjin.
“Of course” answered Chanmi quickly. She clearly had taken a liking to the
handsome man, which made Hoseok even more annoyed. Why was she behaving like
this when in less than ten minutes she’s going to leave and not see Hoseok for
a long time? She has taken care of Hoseok and his mother since he was a small
child but she wasn’t acting like she’s gonna miss him while he’s going to be
away.
“Just stop me if anything is incorrect” said Seokjin. Then he started reading
Hoseok’s informations. Name, mother’s name, age, birth date, ID numbers… Stuff
Hoseok didn’t really care about. Then came the ones regarding his stay here.
“Offence, multiple theft, injuring a police officer. Sentence, 8 months”
Hoseok’s anxiety was so bad, his hands were shaking. He put them under his
thighs. 8 months… He’s going to die here, he was sure of it. “It seems like
there wasn’t any mistakes, fortunately” smiled yet again Seokjin then saved and
closed the registration document on the computer.
They stood up then Chanmi turned to Hoseok and hugged him.
“Be good, okay Hoseokkie?” whispered Chanmi. “It’s going to be over soon. You
won’t even remember this place in five years. Think about that. It’s going to
be okay.” Hoseok hugged her back tightly. He almost let a few tears escape him,
but then he remembered Seokjin was still there. He didn’t want to seem weak in
front of the man.
“I’m sorry noona…” said Hoseok. He felt terrible for behaving like an asshole
in the past few days. Even at court he continously was lashing out at her, as
if his mistakes were her fault.
“It’s okay, Hoseok” smiled Chanmi. “Just promise me you’ll behave” raised her
pinky finger Chanmi. Hoseok smiled then hooked his pinky with hers.
“I promise.”
Chanmi hugged him once more, bowed to Seokjin, then turned and walked out of
the building. Hoseok turned to Seokjin. The man looked at him and smiled.
“Come, I’ll show you to your room” said Seokjin. Hoseok nodded, then followed
him.

Seokjin lead him through the wing on the right while he explained how there are
three floors of the building with ten rooms each. Each floor is the same; out
of ten rooms three are eight bed rooms, five are four and just two are rooms
that accommodate only two boys. The doors of every room have to be unlocked at
all times and only can be locked when everybody leaves the building for school.
There are toilets in each room but the residents have to go to the main
building to wash up. Every floor has its own bathing time so they can wash up
comfortably. Hoseok already hated bathing time, having to clean in a common
bathroom where only the thin shower curtain provides him any privacy. He
already missed his small bathroom at home.
"Your room is on the third floor" started Seokjin as they stepped inside the
elevator where he pushed the button that would take them to the third floor.
"Normally you'd be staying at one of the four bed rooms since your sentence is
in the moderate section, but last night a new offender has arrived and we had
to put him in that room that was meant for you" said Seokjin then continued.
"But I think you are lucky things turned out like this, you'll be staying at
one of the two bed rooms" smiled Seokjin. Hoseok just silently nodded.
They stepped out the elevator and he took in the sight of the floor. To be
honest there wasn't too much to look at, only a few paintings on the walls and
some potted plants in the corners. They started walking down the corridor and
Hoseok looked at the doors at the left. They read 3A, 3B and so on. He was
still anxious but the feeling lessened after he heard he would only have one
roommate. One person is not that hard to deal with and Hoseok was good at
talking anyway so maybe there won't be any trouble.
Seokjin stopped at the last door which read ‘3J’ on it. Next to the door was a
small white board with a name on it. Seokjin pulled out a black marker of his
pocket and proceeded to write 'Jung Hoseok' on the board under the other name.
Hoseok craned his neck to see the name better and a second later he could read
the name above his. 'Min Yoongi'. That's a nice name thought Hoseok. Seokjin
turned to him.
"Your roommate is a very quiet boy. It probably would be for the best if you
wouldn't have any interaction with him" said Seokjin. Hoseok frowned.
"What, is he a crazy person or something?" he asked. He has to stay with some
weirdo whom he had to treat as a ghost? Just wonderful.
Seokjin barked out a laugh so loud Hoseok flinched.
"Well, not the word I'd use..." snickered Seokjin. Hoseok felt very uneasy. He
didn't understand how this matter was in any way funny. "Don't worry, he's not
dangerous. Just very antisocial and nasty when disturbed and he doesn't really
talk." Seokjin opened the door.
"There's going to be a radio announcement ten minutes before dinner. Just wait
in front of the door and an officer will come to collect the residents of this
floor and take you to the dining area" said Seokjin then gestured to the open
door. "Now go. Unpack, rest a bit. Just don't cause any trouble" said Seokjin.
Hoseok bowed politely and stepped inside the room and Seokjin closed it behind
him.
The room was dark so Hoseok couldn't really see much of it. As he stepped
inside he could see a door at the wall opposite the entrance and he assumed it
was the toilet. On that wall was a window with the curtains drawn and a bed was
directly under it. Hoseok stepped further in and turned his head slightly to
look at the rest of the room. The other bed was pushed to furthest corner of
the room and it looked like somebody was sleeping in a bundle of blankets.
Hoseok couldn't really see the boy - Yoongi - just a tuft of black hair peaking
out the top of the blanket cocoon. Between the two beds were two small plain
chests consisting of four drawers.
Hoseok quietly went to the bed that was at the window and put his bag down. He
sat on the bed and started unpacking. He really didn't have much, just a
sleeping jogger, two black shirts, a hoodie, a few bundle of socks and a bunch
of underwear. He only had the shoes Chanmi bought for him earlier that day. He
was told he didn't need to pack a towel or toothbrush, the facility would
provide it to him. He looked around and saw that a small package was on his
drawer so he reached for it and saw that they were in fact the cleaning
necessities Chanmi told him about. He grabbed them and his clothes and put them
all inside the top drawer.
Hoseok took off his shoes and lay down on the bed turning on his side so he was
facing the other bed.  He couldn't hear and noises coming from the other boy
and he didn't want to disturb him anyway so he closed his heavy lids and slowly
drifted sleep. Through his light slumber he could occasionally hear noises - a
door being opened and closed, the sound of a toilet being flushed, the creaking
of a bed that wasn't his. Hoseok didn't open his eyes.

“Attention! Third floor residents prepare for dinner! Step outside your room
and wait for Officer Han.”
Hoseok jerked awake. His eyes were tightly shut so it took him a few moments
until he could pry them open. He didn’t even realize he had fallen into such a
deep sleep. He groaned then froze.
A set of dark eyes were watching him from the other side of the room and it
made a shiver run down Hoseok’s spine. He slowly turned his head towards the
other boy. Yoongi was still bundled up in many blankets. Since the covers were
up over his nose Hoseok could only see the boys small slanted eyes.
Hoseok grew uncomfortable. What should he do? Should he ignore the boy like
Seokjin suggested or should he try to befriend him? Since Hoseok didn’t trust
Seokjin he chose the latter.
“Hi…” said Hoseok tentatively. Yoongi didn’t even blink just watched Hoseok
relentlessly. Hoseok cleared his throat and tried again. He felt like he had to
make the boy talk. “I’m Hoseok. I presume you’re Yoongi?” but Yoongi just
stared back at him. Hoseok started to get annoyed. Who the hell was this boy?
Why was he acting like a creep? Hoseok sighed. He sat up and ran his fingers
through his messy hair. He had to go out to wait for the officer to take them
to dinner. They can continue getting to know each other when they got back.
Hoseok stood up and stretched and let out a moan as his stiff muscles loosened.
He stepped inside his shoes and walked to the door. He looked back at Yoongi.
“Aren’t you coming?” asked Hoseok from the boy who was still watching him. At
hearing his question Yoongi just closed his eyes and turned towards the wall
making his face impossible to see. Hoseok shrugged, opened the door and stepped
outside.
There were many boys waiting on the corridor, most of them leaning on the walls
or just standing in front of their doors. As he stepped outside only a few
looked at him but they quickly averted their gazes. Hoseok frowned. Not to be
egoistic but he’s new. How come they don’t check out the new meat? Of course he
wasn’t complaining, at least he could eat in peace.
The elevator dinged singnaling Officer Han was here.
“Form into pairs” instructed the officer them. They did as he asked way more
quickly than Hoseok anticipated. I guess they had some practice… snorted Hoseok
then realized it was going to become a routine for him too. His mood quickly
turned shit.
The line started moving toward the double doors situated at the end of the
corridor next to the elevator. It was an entrance to a stairway which was
leading to the ground floor since it would take too long for the entire floor
to take the elevator. As Hoseok passed Officer Han the man grabbed his
shoulder.
“Where’s Min?” asked the intimidating man. Min? Hoseok was confused for moment
then he realized the officer was talking about his roommate. What should he
say? “Well?” asked Officer Han impatiently.
“Uhm, well… He’s sleeping” Hoseok cringed. He should’ve said Yoongi’s sick. Is
he going to be in trouble? mused Hoseok. The man let out an irritated sigh. He
then reached to his belt and took a small device which looked like a smaller
radio. He proceeded to press a button then started talking into the device.
“Hey, Seokjin. Would you please ring Mina? Min’s going to need the tube again”
said the man. Tube? What the hell are they talking about? Hoseok was very
confused. There was a short pause then Seokjin’s robotic voice could be heard
from the small device.
“Yeah, I figured” Seokjin sighed. “Okay, I’m ringing her. You can just lead the
boys to dinner, we’ll be there soon” finished Seokjin. Officer Han turned to
Hoseok.
“What are you waiting for? Get moving!” barked the man. Hoseok scurried after
the others. He already hated this place.

The food was surprisingly good. The meal was bokum bap with egg drop soup and a
spicy salad made from onions, cucumbers, and apples. Hoseok was even more happy
when he saw that the dessert was slices of sweet watermelon. The meal
coordinator even gave Hoseok an extra slice since he was new and ‘had the
brightest smile around here’. Hoseok blushed at the last remark but accepted
the extra slice. As he was eating he contemplated bringing the extra slice back
with him for Yoongi but Hoseok was afraid he’d get in trouble. He ate both
slices in mere seconds and even sucked on his fingers to get all the sweet
juices of the watermelon so it wouldn’t go to waste.
They went back the same way they came. Hoseok was almost at his room when the
door swung open and Seokjin and a short middle aged woman stepped out. Seokjin
had a bandaid on his left cheek what must’ve been new.
“He was particularly vicious today” said Seokjin to the woman. She snorted than
suddenly looked at Hoseok.
“Oh, you must be Yoongi’s roommate” said the woman. “We haven’t met yet. My
name is Park Mina and I’m the head nurse here.” she bowed which Hoseok
returned. She continued.
“Would you be an angel and watch Yoongi? He has to keep the tube in until
tomorrow morning and we don’t want him harming himself by trying to pull it
out. Again.” she smiled at him. Hoseok was starting to get distraught. Why was
she talking about this ‘tube’ like he knew what the hell she was talking about?
“I… I don’t know-” started Hoseok but Seokjin quickly interrupted him.
“You don’t have to do anything, just check on him from time to time and if you
see something unusual just wave to the camera so we can come and stop him” said
Seokjin. Wait, what? Camera? Oh, of course. The small black thing at the upper
corner of their room. They were watched like criminals. Well, technically, you
are one…
“Okay…” said Hoseok carefully. He can do that.
“Wonderful!” smiled Seokjin. “Now, since it seems you slept through bathing
time you have to wait until tomorrow. Unless you want to go now?” asked
Seokjin. Hoseok was starting to feel very weary so he just shook his head.
Seokjin understood him. They both bid him goodnight then waited until Hoseok
was inside his room. The lights were on this time. Hoseok sagged against the
door and rubbed his face. He heard a quiet sniff. Hoseok looked up sharply and
gaped at the sight in front of him.
Yoongi was sitting up in his bed, back propped up against his his pillows. An
infusion rack was next to his be with a package hanging from it. A tube was
connected at the bottom of the small package. The tube itself was looped around
Yoongi’s ear and then it disappeared into his right nostril. The tube was
plastered down with a bandaid on Yoongi’s cheek, probably keeping it in place
so it won’t move too much.
Hoseok was mortified when he saw that Yoongi was crying. He wasn’t doing it in
an obnoxious manner, no. He was crying so softly that if Hoseok wouldn’t be
able to see his tears he couldn’t tell he was in fact, weeping. Hoseok took a
tentative step towards the boy.
“Hey, are you OK?” asked Hoseok slowly approaching him. Yoongi whipped up his
head and stared at Hoseok. He didnt say anything. Hoseok sighed and almost
turned when he saw Yoongi nodding. “Are you sure? I can call Seokjin here-” at
hearing their head correctional officer’s name Yoongi’s eyes widened and his
face contracted so he looked like he was in terrible pain. He violently shook
his head and looked at Hoseok pleadingly. He scared Hoseok.
“Okay, okay, calm down!” raised his hands Hoseok. Yoongi visibly calmed down
and leaned back, his gaze on his clasped hands in his lap. Now that he wasn’t
bundled up from head to toe Hoseok took his appearance in.
To say he was thin was an understatement, his wrists looking like they could
snap at any harsh movement. He skin was very lightly tanned, so fortunately he
wasn’t looking terribly sick. His face was rounded despite his thinness, full
cheeks with a button nose , full bowed lips and slanted eyes. His eyebrows were
hidden beneath his dark and messy bedhair. If they were in a different
situation, Hoseok would definetely try and chat up the boy. Yoongi was very
pretty even considering the circumstanses. Yoongi eventually lay down
carefully, pulling his covers over his shoulders but he remained on his back.
Hoseok moved to his own drawer pulling out the top drawer taking out his
sleeping clothes. He quickly changed not looking at Yoongi. He switched the
lights off and got into bed, under the covers. Even though it was nearing the
end of August, it was so cool inside the room the blanket was a comfortble
weight on him. He wanted to say goodnight to Yoongi but he was so exhausted his
eyelids closed on their own and he immediately fell into a deep sleep.
It felt like he only slept a few seconds when he woke up to an unusual sound.
It took him a couple seconds to comepletely wake up and register the noise. It
was coming from Yoongi’s bed and as Hoseok listened closer he could hear what
the noises were. Yoongi was whining and moaning in what seemed like pain.
Hoseok got up immediately and kneeled beside Yoongi’s bed. He took the covers
and slowly plied them away from Yoongi’s body.
The boy was laying in a fetal position, hands curling around himself. He looked
so small Hoseok immediately pitied him. Hoseok gently placed his hands on
Yoongi’s shoulders. His reaction wasn’t what Hoseok imagined. He didn’t swat
away his hands or hit him. No, Yoongi rolled onto his back and weakly grasped
Hoseok’s hand. Hoseok was paralyzed. Then Yoongi opened his mouth and spoke for
the first time since Hoseok’s been there.
“Hoseok…” he mumbled weakly. “Help…” whined Yoongi still holding Hoseok’s
outreached hand.
“What’s wrong?” asked Hoseok dumbly. What the hell was even happening? Yoongi
started crying again.
“I-I’m so full and it huh-hurts so bad…” said Yoongi shakily, gesturing towards
his belly as he pulled up his shirt. He was right. His stomach was looking
terribly tight and uncomfortable. “Please…” begged Yoongi. Hoseok didn’t
understand anything. What could he do? Call Seokjin? No, it would only freak
Yoongi out. But what else could he do?
Hoseok was deep in his thoughts when Yoongi tugged on his hand and placed it on
his tight belly. Hoseok was frozen for a moment before he instinctively started
to move his hand in a tight circle. Yoongi sighed contently. They weren’t
saying a word as Hoseok massaged Yoongi.
His knees were hurting terribly from kneeling on the floor for such a long time
and his back started to hurt as well.
He got up and before Yoongi could’ve started whining again he climbed in next
to him paying close attention to the tube. He tucked himself between the wall
and Yoongi who was still on his back. Then he placed his hand back to Yoongi’s
hurting stomach and started moving his fingers in a tight circle a little above
Yoongi’s belly button.
He massaged Yoongi until they both fell into a deep slumber.

will be very laid back hahahaha…hehe...
warnings for this chapter: uuuuhhmmm slight only very little smutty
part but its so vanilla i don't think it even counts as smut lmao
See the end of the chapter for more notes
Hoseok woke up to Yoongi’s absence. His eyes weren’t opened yet but he could
clearly feel that he was alone in the room. There was complete silence, only a
single dog’s bark could be heard somewhere in the distance.
As always, it took Hoseok several seconds to open his eyes. He sleepily looked
around searching for his roommate but he was right, he was the only one
present. The room was in semi-darkness signaling the time was closer to being
in the dawn hours rather than the morning.
Hoseok looked at the toilet door hoping it would be closed indicating Yoongi
was inside but sadly it was left wide open. He sat up yawning and lifting his
arms up high so that the stiffness of his muscles could be loosened. He gently
touched where Yoongi was laying on the bed last night. To his surprise it was
slightly warm. So he didn’t leave too long ago… thought Hoseok while he yawned
again. He swung his legs over the edge of the narrow bed and stood up. First he
went to the bathroom to relieve himself.
Afterwards he was done he washed his face and rinsed out his mouth. He then
proceeded to sniff at his armpits hoping he couldn’t smell anything horrible.
Luckily there wasn’t any unpleasant smell but he washed his armpits just in
case. He would’ve died of embarrassment if he found out he was laying next to
Yoongi smelling of stale sweat.
I should’ve cleaned up yesterday he thought while he went back to his chest
pulling out the first drawer and searching for his towel, drying himself with
it after he found it under his hoodie. He folded his sleeping shirt and put it
in the second drawer so he was going to be able to tell it apart from his other
shirts since he had bad memory and wouldn’t remember whether his sleeping top
was black or white.
Hoseok looked around and saw his clothes from yesterday on his bed folded.
Weird, I thought I left them on the floor mused Hoseok as he grabbed the dirty
shirt, socks and underwear and put them in the third drawer which he meant for
laundry. He took his worn jeans and stuffed it in the first drawer.
He grabbed a pair of fresh underwear and socks and got into them then he
proceeded to slip into the same sleeping pants he wore at night since he was
about to get back into bed seeing it was still too early for breakfast although
he couldn’t remember when that was no matter how hard he tried even though his
social worker made him memorize every information she knew about the facility.
Well, she tried.
Hoseok sat on the bed and looked at the ceiling. He thought of his mom, home
alone in that dingy little apartment that was too small for even just the two
of them. He felt guilty yet again but he was disappointed as well. Disappointed
in himself for letting himself be caught and brought to trial over such trivial
things like stealing…
They were poor, him and his mom for as long as he could remember. Even at a
very young age he was stealing food for himself when his mother was fired yet
again and was unable to feed them. He remembered even stealing from their
equally poor neighbours when he was beyond desperate trying to feed his sick
mother. At six, when he went to school for the first time and got free lunch he
thought he was in paradise. Chanmi was assigned to them around that time too
and she was helping him and his mother since then.
He started shoplifting when he was twelve. He stole a can of cat food for the
stray kitten he found in a dumpster in the park the day before. Then came food
for home, snacks, cleaning supplies and anything his mother needed and they
couldn’t possibly afford. He was caught a handful of times but he could always
get away due to the police officers’ and shop owners’ pity when he started
sobbing about his poor, poor mother. Victory was even sweeter when they let him
keep the stuff he tried to steal. He always felt proud.
But the last trip wasn’t just for food or a blouse for his mother. He had
started at 7pm at the plaza, stealing two bathing suits, sunscreen and a huge
blanket. Everything had been going according to plan. He had walked around the
park searching for the perfect car he could steal. A small one would’ve been
enough for him and his mother. When he had found a fitting one for their needs
he had started the procedure he had learned in IT class the week before. Just
when he had succeeded and had been about to climb in had he heard the shout.
“Police! Don’t move!” Hoseok had whipped around in shock. The police never
patrolled around there at that time of the day. He had panicked, trying to jump
into the car when a hand grabbed the back of his t-shirt and had pulled him
out.
Hoseok was fighting. This can’t be happening! he thought as he desperately
tried to get away from the officer. As he had been thrashing around he had made
a terrible mistake: he had elbowed the officer right in the nose. The man had
yelled painfully grabbing his now bloody broken nose. Hoseok had been frozen on
the spot, terrified. He had been about to run away when the police officer’s
partner had seized hold of him.
He was brought to trial for multiple theft for stealing from the plaza,
breaking into the car and injuring the police officer. He was sentenced to 8
months in reformatory seeing he was underage.
Hoseok was disappointed in himself for getting caught, yes, but he was even
more disappointed because he failed to fulfill his mom’s wish to go to the
beach on her birthday.
Hoseok sighed and reached up to rub his face. He was such a bad son…
He pulled up his legs and moved to lay onto his bed when he caught sight of
something. A small piece of paper was on his pillow. Hoseok picked it up,
inspecting the small paper and saw that it was probably torn out of a book
since there were printed words on the back. Upon closer inspection he saw that
there were two things written on it with a purple marker. The one at the top
was crossed out with multiple lines but Hoseok was still able to read it: ‘I’m
sorry’. The bottom one read ‘Thank you’ in a neat characters.
Hoseok lay down and read the note over and over. He imagined hearing it in
Yoongi’s voice and when he recalled it Yoongi’s moaning from the night before
popped into his head and blush started to creep up his cheeks. He felt awful
since Yoongi had bed whining out of pain but he still felt the first signs of
arousal deep in his belly. Yoongi was so cute, pouting with his shirt lifted so
it was showing almost all of his torso, nipples the softest shade of light
brown.
Hoseok groaned, slipping the note under his pillow and turning onto his
stomach. He pressed his hips into the bed making his already half-hard cock
ache. He almost started humping the bed when he remembered how Yoongi was
hooked up with a strange tube and crying and shaking in bed when Hoseok got
back from dinner yesterday.
Hoseok immediately shot up from bed and went to the sink to wash his now
burning face. He was so ashamed for almost getting off on the pained whines of
his presumably sick roommate, no matter how attractive or cute Yoongi looked he
couldn't do that.
Hoseok got back into bed and forced himself to ignore his erection and his mind
to not think of anything. His eyelids grew heavy and before he even realized
how tired he still was he fell asleep.
The second time he woke up it was to the radio announcers static voice. There
were only ten minutes until breakfast so Hoseok got up and stretched yet again.
He was still alone which didn’t really surprise him. He turned and looked at
the window which was directly over his bed. He should really pull the curtains
open and let in some fresh air. So he reached over his bed and proceeded to do
so. The view was nothing special or interesting: just the facility’s parking
lot where he got out of the car not even 24 hours ago. It seemed like a
lifetime ago. There were bars on the window which made the whole room feel more
like a prison cell. He cracked the window open and happily sighed when a warm
breeze caressed his face.
He went over to his drawer taking out his jeans and a black shirt. He quickly
dressed up, put on his shoes and stepped out of the room.
Not a lot of boys were on the corridor, only a few loitering around probably
because of the early morning hour and they’d rather stay in bed than go eat
breakfast. Hoseok could relate but he cared about Yoongi’s whereabouts more
than sleeping.
Soon enough the sound of the elevator could be heard and - unfortunately - it
was Officer Han who stepped out and ordered them to form into pairs. It was
likely that his voice could be heard inside the rooms for the remaining
residents rushed out of their room and quickly stood in the line.
It was like yesterday was repeating itself: the officer stopped Hoseok when he
reached him and asked him where Yoongi was. Hoseok decided to tell the truth
and hoped Yoongi wouldn’t get in trouble.
“I don’t know. He wasn’t in the room when I woke up” said Hoseok. Officer Han
looked shocked at first then realization dawned on him. He curtly nodded then
ushered him after the others.
Breakfast was divine. Even though Hoseok could appreciate any food even it was
below average quality, this meal was truly fantastic. It consisted of doenjang
jjigae, cooked rice, kimchi, a side dish made of bean sprouts and spinach and a
steamed egg. Was he really in a reformatory? The food made it seem like he was
rather in a hotel (not that he knew what that was like).
As he was happily eating away somebody slid into the chair next to him. Hoseok
flinched hard, heart racing from the surprise. It was Yoongi who sat down next
to him with his own plate which was only holding a small serving of plain
cooked rice. He glanced at Hoseok offering a slight smile. He didn’t have that
weird tube in his nose anymore and Hoseok could see a small speck of blood
under Yoongi’s nose. Hoseok smiled back.
They were eating in silence, or at least Hoseok was. Yoongi wasn’t really
eating only lifting his chopsticks occasionally to his mouth.
“You aren’t hungry?” asked Hoseok after swallowing a mouthful of the sticky
rice. Yoongi shook his head.
“Ah, I see…” mused Hoseok looking down at his plate. “Still full from last
night?” Hoseok wanted to slap himself. Why did he have to bring up the night
before? He was blushing hard and when he looked at Yoongi he saw that he had a
deep blush on his cheeks as well. Yoongi peeked at Hoseok and nodded quickly
before shoving a portion of rice in his mouth. Hoseok smiled at Yoongi’s
embarrassment. He was too cute for his own good. Hoseok didn’t even want to
pretend like he wasn’t attracted to the other boy, it was pointless. He was
going to have to live with this little crush until he got out this shit place.
When everybody was done they had to form into pairs again to go back. Hoseok
was wondering exactly when were they going to go to school since he wasn't told
when it started or where it even was. Not that he was very keen on going back
to school but since it was almost the end of August he knew that soon he was
going to be forced to enter a new school. Was there a school on the
reformatory’s property or were they allowed outside the facility to attend
school? It was going to be an unpleasant experience either way. He was
conflicted so he looked around searching for the head correctional officer.
He caught sight of Seokjin talking to some guards by the cafeteria’s entrance.
He turned to Yoongi.
“I'm going to talk to Seokjin, ok?” asked Hoseok. Yoongi just slightly nodded
his head so Hoseok got out of the line and walked over to the man. When he
reached him the guards looked at him sharply like he was a serious threat.
Hoseok wasn't paying any attention to them as he spoke to Seokjin directly.
“Good morning…” said Hoseok tentatively. He was starting to feel uncomfortable
under the scrutiny of the guards. He was just starting to feel okay with
Seokjin but the guards looked at him with such distaste he felt like he really
was a piece of shit.
“Oh, good morning Hoseok!” greeted him Seokjin. Of course, like always, he was
smiling brightly.
“I just wanted to ask you about a few things” said Hoseok still ignoring the
guards who were staring at him. Seokjin nodded and bowed slightly in the
guards’ direction then grabbed Hoseok by the arm and pulled him away from them.
He then proceeded to wave to Officer Han who was in the act of lecturing two
boys who were scrubbing the floor probably because they spilled something.
“He’s coming to my office for a talk. Don’t worry, he's going to be ready for
school on time” said Seokjin still holding onto Hoseok’s arm. He lead him
through the entrance then took a left turn and started walking down a corridor
which looked the same as the one Hoseok was currently living on.
After a couple seconds he stopped in front of a door that had a small board on
it. Hoseok squinted so he could read the letters. ‘Kim Seokjin’ it read. Ah, so
this is his office thought Hoseok. Seokjin let go of Hoseok’s arm and reached
inside his pocket. He pulled out a key and moved to unlock the door. He
motioned for Hoseok to step inside and Hoseok did so.
The office wasn't too interesting. It had a desk with a chair, a big bookcase
filled with books and folders and a quite small and plain cheap looking
armchair.
Seokjin shut the door after they both were inside and moved to the desk and sat
down. Hoseok was still standing not knowing if he was allowed to sit down or
not. Seokjin must've seen Hoseok’s hesitation because he just motioned at the
armchair so Hoseok moved over and sat down.
“So, what can I help you with?” asked Seokjin placing his chin on his clasped
hands. Hoseok originally only wanted to ask about school of the elder but now
he felt the sudden urge to ask about his roommate too. School first, then
Yoongi decided Hoseok.
“Well I was just wondering about school since I know it started a few days ago”
he started. “My social worker didn’t say too many information about it, just
that I had to go to school and that the reformatory would provide the books and
pens and stuff…” said Hoseok. Seokjin was listening to him intently and it made
Hoseok a little bit self-concious.
“Oh I see” said Seokjin. “I can definitely answer these kind of questions”
laughed he slightly. “I was kind of afraid you’d be asking about something
completely different…” Hoseok had a feeling that Seokjin was talking about
being asked about Yoongi. There went his chance to getting to know his roommate
a little bit better.
“So, the residents of Busan Reformatory go to school outside of the
institution. The reformatory’s officers escort you to school and right back.
You cannot leave school during study hours and cannot stay in the city after”
said Seokjin. Hoseok was surprised a bit. He didn’t think he could leave the
reformatory at all but he wasn’t complaining. At least he was going to be able
to have fresh air every day, even if it was because of school. Seokjin
continued.
“You’re going to go to school with teenagers who do not belong to the
reformatory so you’re going to have to be on your best behavior” said Seokjin.
“About the classes… They’re going to be the same as every school. We expect
good grades from every resident, so from you too” finished Seokjin.
He then stood up and went to the bookcase. After a moment of searching he
grabbed a stock of books and notebooks then walked back and handed them to
Hoseok. Hoseok inspected them and saw that they were his school books. He
already hated them.
Seokjin went over to his desk and pulled out a drawer. He grabbed a few pens
and handed them over to Hoseok as well.
“Do you want to know anything else?” asked Seokjin. Hoseok contemplated asking
about Yoongi but then decided against it. He didn’t want Seokjin to know he
wasn’t ignoring Yoongi like he was advised yesterday. He shook his head and
stood up. Seokjin went to the door and stepped out. Hoseok followed him.
Seokjin lead him back to the elevator and pushed the call button. As they were
waiting Hoseok suddenly remembered a thing he was wondering about quite a lot.
“What happens if somebody tries to run away?” he asked. The elevator arrived
and he stepped inside and turned to face Seokjin. Seokjin was looking at him
with a blank face, then like he suddenly remembered he was supposed to, smiled
at him.
“Why don’t you ask Yoongi?” asked Seokjin sweet voice. The elevator doors
slowly closed leaving Hoseok dumbfounded. A shiver ran down his spine.

When Hoseok stepped inside the room he saw Yoongi by the sink slowly brushing
his teeth. He had his eyes closed and was leaning heavily on the sink like he
was unable to stand on his own. He didn’t open his eyes when he heard that
Hoseok has arrived.
Hoseok moved to his drawer and grabbed his toothbrush and toothpaste. He went
over to the sink, wet his brush, added some toothpaste and started brushing his
teeth. He was leaning against the doorframe watching Yoongi carefully. He was
certainly shorter than him with what it seemed like two inches, which made
Yoongi even cuter. He was small and delicate and Hoseok was so very endeared by
it.
The other was dressed in black jeans and a baby blue hoodie. Hoseok frowned. It
was the end of August and he was wearing a hoodie?
“Aren’t you gonna melt in that?” gestured Hoseok to Yoongi’s hoodie when he saw
him open his eyes. Yoongi just shook his head then turned and spat into the
sink. He then bent down and rinsed his mouth. When he turned to go out he
didn’t even wait for Hoseok to move away from the door just squeezed himself
through the slight gap there was between Hoseok and the doorframe. It was over
in less than two seconds but Hoseok was still thinking about how delicious
Yoongi was smelling when they had to stand into pairs on the corridor.
The first day of school was about to begin and he was about to leave the
institution but the only thing on his mind was Yoongi.

Hoseok found out that the walk to school took about twenty minutes and he was
greatly pleased about this fact. He had been hoping that the school wouldn’t be
too close so he could enjoy the outdoors for longer. He was even more pleased
that Yoongi was walking next to him.
There were six officers with them in total, two at the front, two at the sides
and two at the end of the line. Hoseok and Yoongi were the last ones seeing
they were in the last room. Hoseok found out from Yoongi when they were still
in the reformatory that only the third floor was attending this school. The
other two were going to two other schools so that one school didn’t have to
take in the whole reformatory. It was safer this way too.
Hoseok had been surprised when Yoongi, albeit quietly answered his question.
Hoseok only expected a headshake or nodding, but when he heard Yoongi’s sweet
deep voice he was pleasantly surprised. He was even more surprised when Yoongi
informed him that they had the same classes. Hoseok was so happy that Yoongi
was starting to talk to him that he couldn’t stop smiling. Yoongi offered a
small smile in return.
The twenty minute walk was over too soon for Hoseok’s liking. When they reached
the school Hoseok wasn’t surprised when he saw that it looked exactly the same
as every other highschool did. It was a faded grey colour with white windows
and doors.
Other students were watching them as they approached the entrance. Hoseok felt
very uncomfortable since they wasn’t wearing uniform making them stand out even
more as if the correctional officers weren’t making them look like freaks. He
wondered if he was going to be bullied, and seeing how people were pointing and
snickering at them it was very likely. As if Yoongi could read his thoughts he
turned slightly to Hoseok.
“You don’t have to worry about them… They’re too afraid to even talk to us”
said Yoongi nodding behind Hoseok. Hoseok raised his eyebrows and looked behind
him. Yoongi was right, the other students were avoiding even being in the same
place they were as if they had some sort of disease. Were they thinking that
they were murderers? Then a sudden thought came into his mind; were there
murderes amongst them? Dread set into Hoseok. Yes, he was a thief and he broke
the law but he still didn't want to be around serious criminals.
He glanced at Yoongi. Why was he in the reformatory? He wasn't looking like he
could hurt anyone so he must be in for theft as well… right? Hoseok was hoping
that that was the case even though he knew that being in the two bed rooms
meant that the residents of that room were sentenced for more than a year. What
could've Yoongi done that got him into that room? Hoseok was very curious and
he decided to ask Yoongi when they got back from school. He hoped Yoongi was
going to talk to him.
The classrooms were ordinary and plain but they were big and the windows
provided a great view and more than enough sunlight.
Since Hoseok had the same classes as Yoongi he followed the boy around like an
overexcited puppy. Fortunately he always had a place next to Yoongi although it
meant that his roommate had been always sitting alone which saddened and
angered Hoseok. Yoongi was such a cute person and people still treated him like
a ghost. That was what Seokjin told him to do as well but he refused to be an
asshole to Yoongi. Even though he only knew Yoongi for a day he felt
overprotective of him.
The day went past in a blur. The two of them spent lunch break in the school
yard under the shade of a big tree. Hoseok was talking about his adventures and
mom to Yoongi. The boy was silently laying on the ground but Hoseok knew that
he was listening to him, his eyelashes fluttering from time to time, sometimes
even a trace of a small smile could be seen on his pouted lips.
Hoseok learned that Yoongi was good in school when he received a test back with
a red A+ on it. Hoseok was so impressed he was gaping since math to him was
hell itself. Yoongi got flustered at Hoseok’s attention, a deep redness
prominent on his full cheeks. Hoseok resisted cooing at him, he didn't want to
weird Yoongi out.
It was the end of the day and they were walking back. Hoseok decided that he
likes school. Any time he could spend with Yoongi was a great time no matter
where they had to spend it.
When they got back Yoongi immediately started doing his homework. Hoseok just
lay on his own bed lazing around watching Yoongi working away, biting his lips
in concentration. Hoseok almost fell out of his bed when Yoongi looked up
sharply and stared at him.
“You should do your homework too” said Yoongi in a soft voice.
“But I hate math” whined Hoseok pouting at Yoongi. Yoongi just sighed and
patted the bed he was sitting on.
“Come here, I’ll help you” Hoseok was on his feet and on Yoongi’s bed in no
time, math book and a pen clutched tightly in his hand. Yoongi shifted so they
were sitting beside each other leaning on the wall. Yoongi put his workbook on
his lap and looked at Hoseok. “Can we start?” Hoseok nodded.
Math was surprisingly enjoyable when it was taught by Yoongi. He explained the
same thing over and over as many times Hoseok asked him to and he didn't even
hesitated to do so. Hoseok even started to understand the more difficult
equations he had great difficulties with.
After math they moved on to the other subjects and of course Yoongi was good at
those as well. It was nice working like this, almost pressed together and
talking in low voices. Hoseok couldn't believe himself… enjoying studying? How
did that happen? Hoseok was certain Yoongi’s presence had something to do with
it, if not everything.
They were just done with everything when they heard the radio announcement
indicating there was only ten minutes until dinner.
Hoseok stood up and stretched, feeling a few satisfying cracks. He slipped into
his shoes that were by the door next to Yoongi's. He went inside the toilet and
washed his hand in the sink, rubbing at the few blue pen marks that littered
his skin. After he dried his hand on his jeans he moved to the door and
abruptly stopped.
Yoongi was still laying on his bed which meant he wasn't going to come to
dinner. Which also meant that it was likely that he was going to be tubed
again. Hoseok went over to Yoongi.
“Come on, let’s go” said Hoseok looking down at Yoongi.
“I don’t wanna…” shook his head the small boy.
“Why? Do you want to be tube fed again?” Hoseok figured that much out that
Yoongi was fed through the tube yesterday. Hoseok didn't want Yoongi in pain
again. Yoongi looked at Hoseok with wide eyes and slowly shook his head again.
“Then get up, here” Hoseok took Yoongi's hand and carefully pulled him up.
Yoongi let himself be helped into his shoes and obediently followed Hoseok out
of their room into the corridor.
Officer Han was visibly surprised to see Yoongi walking next to Hoseok. Hoseok
looked at Yoongi as saw him shrinking under the officer’s heavy gaze. Hoseok
discretely took a hold on his thin forearm and started walking a little faster.
He didn't know why Yoongi was acting this way but he didn't like it.

Dinner was jjinmangu filled with pork, onions, cabbage, carrots, and mung bean
noodles. Hoseok dived into them and found out that yet again the meal was
flavorful and amazing. Yoongi was only drinking his tea ten minutes into the
meal and Hoseok was losing his patience. He grabbed a still hot dumpling and
moved to hold it to Yoongi's mouth. Yoongi startled, eyebrows shooting up his
forehead.
“Open up” said Hoseok, smiling. Yoongi hesitantly parted his thick lips so
Hoseok placed the piece in his mouth. Yoongi closed his mouth and started
chewing. He let out a hum and swallowed. “Good?” asked Hoseok tilting his head.
Yoongi nodded, “Good.”
They ate like that, Yoongi pressed against Hoseok's side, letting himself be
fed. Hoseok greatly enjoyed doing so, the meal tasting even better now that his
roommate was eating deliciously as well. Hoseok suddenly remembered this
morning’s talk with Seokjin.
“What happens if somebody tries to run away?”
“Why don’t you ask Yoongi?”
Hoseok decided to ask Yoongi the question now that he was seemingly in a good
mood.
“Hey, Yoongi…” started Hoseok while feeding a dumpling to Yoongi.
“Hmm?” Hoseok took an intake of breath.
“What happens if somebody tries to run away?” asked Hoseok and immediately
regretted it. Yoongi stiffened beside him and tried to put distance between
their bodies. Hoseok gently grabbed his arm. “Wait! I asked Seokjin but he told
me to ask you...” stuttered Hoseok confused by Yoongi's reaction. Yoongi shook
his head hard but let himself be pulled back to Hoseok.
“I'm sorry…” mumbled Hoseok. Yoongi just stared at the table in front of him
but he still accepted the dumpling Hoseok offered him.
When they got back to their room Yoongi went straight to his drawer and grabbed
his towel and shower gel. He then moved to pull out the second drawer and took
out his sleeping clothes. Hoseok was just staring at him in confusion first
then remembered that they were supposed to go wash up. He went to his drawer
too and took out the same things Yoongi did. Hoseok looked up and saw Yoongi
taking out a pair of slippers under his bed so Hoseok checked his own as well.
He was right, under his bed was a slipper as well meant for showering. He took
them and joined Yoongi who was waiting for him by the door.
They took the stairs due to being permitted to use the elevator on their own.
When they were at the ground floor Yoongi lead them to the other wing where the
showers were situated. There were a couple guards on the corridor but they
didn't even looked at them as they walked past them.
As they passed open doors Hoseok saw that there were five bathrooms with ten
showers each. Yoongi lead them past four doors then went into the fifth one.
It was completely deserted inside but it looked like Yoongi was used to it
being this way.
“Why is this one so empty?” asked Hoseok putting down his stuff on the small
bench in front of the showers. Yoongi fiddled with his shirt and he was biting
his lips hard.
“Because I shower here” answered Yoongi and sat down the bench and started
untying his shoes.
“What does that have to do with anything?” asked Hoseok baffled. Yoongi
snorted.
“They don’t want to catch my diseases…” Yoongi pulled his shirt over his head
and seemingly he didn’t care that Hoseok was right there. Hoseok was terribly
confused. Was Yoongi really always showering alone because the others avoided
him due to his ‘diseases’? How could that even happen? And most importantly how
could the correctional officers let residents not go into the fifth bathroom
just because Yoongi was there? Hoseok had so many questions…
When Hoseok came back from thinking he saw that Yoongi only had his underwear
on. Hoseok didn’t want to look but he wasn’t able to avert his eyes from
Yoongi’s body. Sadly it wasn’t because the small boy’s body was so attractive
but because he looked awfully thin. When the boy turned slightly to fold his
jeans on the bench Hoseok saw that Yoongi’s belly had a soft curve to it which
filled Hoseok with pride since he was the one who fed Yoongi at dinner. He
hoped he was going to be able to make him healthier but somehow he knew that
Yoongi’s behaviour towards food wasn’t like this just because he didn’t like
eating. There were probably psychological reasons which saddened Hoseok even
further.
As if Yoongi felt that Hoseok was unabashedly staring at him he folded his arms
over his chest and turned to Hoseok.
“Aren’t you gonna undress? Or do you just wanna keep ogling me…” asked Yoongi
blushing still covering his torso. Hoseok quickly averted his eyes and started
undressing as well. When he was only clad in his underwear he grabbed the towel
and tied it around his hips then pulled down his underwear and slipped into his
slippers. When he looked up he saw Yoongi’s naked ass disappearing into one of
the showers.
“Well I see you’re an exhibitionist…” snickered Hoseok as he got into a shower
too.
“Shut up!” whined Yoongi in the next stall.
It was weirdly intimate, showering so close to each other. He could hear
Yoongi’s low humming and the shower gel getting squeezed out of the tube.
“What kinda gel do you have?” asked Hoseok. He was looking at his
disapprovingly and it only said ‘Man’s Shower Gel’ on the front and it had a
cheap smell.
“Uhm… It says ‘Soft Silk’” they both started laughing at he lame name.
“How does that even smell like?” asked Hoseok still laughing.
“Why don’t you come over and smell it for yourself?” asked Yoongi back
jokingly. He could be even cheery when they were alone and it was so
refreshing. Hoseok felt like Yoongi had two different personalities: one that
was damaged, sad, shy and resigned, the other funny and open. He hoped that one
day Yoongi won’t be two-sided, only healed, happy and strong.
“Okay” said Hoseok then heard that Yoongi dropped the bottle.
“Wait, really?” came Yoongi’s panicked noise. Hoseok was only joking but to be
honest he really did wanted to smell Yoongi for he knew he must smell divine.
“Uh, well if you really don’t-”
“Come on.”
Hoseok looked around outside to make sure the bathroom wa still empty safe for
the two of them then stepped to the shower next to his. Yoongi’s voice came
from behind the curtain.
“Promise me you’re going to keep your eyes closed. I’m going to as well, okay?”
asked Yoongi in a nervous voice. Hoseok laughed softly and shut his eyes.
“I promise. Now let me me in, I’m freezing my ass off.”
Hoseok felt a warm tuft of air hit him as the shower curtain was pulled apart.
Warm fingers took hold of his arm pulling him inside. He immediately smelt the
gel; it was a heady vanilla scent mixed with something delicious Hoseok
couldn’t put his fingers on.
“Do you wanna use it?” came Yoongi’s voice. He sounded so breathless Hoseok
cracked his eyes open and when he caught sight of Yoongi he lost his breath
too.
Yoongi was leaning against the shower wall under the water spray, the water
hitting his shoulder making it a flushed pink. He had his head tilted back,
neck exposed and eyes closed. His pouty rosy lips were slightly open and his
little pink tongue could be seen. Hoseok couldn’t resist looking down his body
breaking his promise.
Yoongi’s chest was flushed too, his nipples hard from the force of the water
spray. His hands were clutching his stomach, fingers digging into his soft
skin. Hoseok’s gaze fell even lower and felt arousal rise in his stomach. His
legs were thin but his inner thighs looked so soft and squishy Hoseok wanted to
bite into them.
Yoongi was almost completely hairless, a dark little patch of pubic hair above
his cock. He was an average size, but he tip was such a pretty pink Hoseok’s
mouth nearly started to water. The fact, that Yoongi was half-hard didn’t help
with Hoseok’s own arousal.
“I see you’re not very good at keeping promises…” Hoseok snapped his head up,
an embarrassed blush reddening his face. Yoongi was looking at him, still
tilting his head back. He looked smug, showing new side of him yet again.
“You’re just too pretty” answered Hoseok trailing his eyes over Yoongi’s naked
form again. He couldn’t resist stepping closer to Yoongi who raised his hand
and pulled Hoseok even closer. They weren’t pressed together, but seeing how
fast they were breathing they very much could’ve been.
Yoongi closed his eyes and that was when Hoseok leaned in. He was doing it
slowly so Yoongi could push him away any time he wanted. He didn’t do so, so
Hoseok gently kissed his soft lips. Yoongi was stiff for a few seconds but when
Hoseok slowly started to move his lips he loosened up. He started kissing back
and when Hoseok touched his tongue to Yoongi’s lips he obediently opened his
mouth letting Hoseok in. The kiss got more frantic and that’s when Hoseok made
a big mistake.
He pressed himself close to Yoongi trapping the smaller boy against the tiles
making him unable to move. Yoongi immediately froze up, then started trashing
around.
“Nuh-no, let go, please!” he sobbed and Hoseok stepped back right away. Yoongi
slid down the wall, hiding his face in his hands. He was shaking on the
bathroom floor making himself as small as possible. As Hoseok slowly crouched
down he heard that Yoongi was still whispering things.
“I’m not asking for it, I’m not a sluh-slut I don’t want it!” whispered he
frevently, eyes closed but tears still streaming down his pretty face.
“Oh Yoongi…” muttered Hoseok, feeling tears burning his eyes as well. “I’m so
sorry… I didn’t mean to hurt you” said Hoseok to Yoongi. Yoongi was starting to
shiver, hot water not hitting his skin. Hoseok turned the shower off and pulled
the towel off the shower curtain’s rail. He crouched down again and laid the
towel around Yoongi’s shoulders. Yoongi flinched hard, trying to get away from
Hoseok’s touch. Hoseok gently grabbed his shoulders.
“Yoongi, hey, look at me! I’m… I’m Hoseok and I’m not going to hurt you. You’re
safe…” Hoseok truly had no idea what to do but he was relieved when he saw
Yoongi opening his now red rimmed eyes. He looked up at Hoseok and albeit
shaking, he nodded his head. Hoseok helped Yoongi stand since the small boy was
shaking so greatly his knees knocked together making it hard for him to walk.
Hoseok sat Yoongi down on the bench and started to dry him off. There was
nothing erotic about it, Yoongi’s tears still slowly tracking down his flushed
face. Hoseok felt terrible.
He dressed Yoongi into his sleeping clothes then in record time dried himself
and dressed up as well. He tucked their towels and dirty clothes under his arm
and helped Yoongi to stand.
They slowly left the bathroom and started their way back to their room.
The guards watched the as they walked past them since Yoongi was leaning on
Hoseok heavily, but since they weren’t making any trouble they didn’t stop
them, just silently stared at the pair.
They were making their way to their room slowly when a familiar voice boomed
behind them.
“Is there something wrong?” Hoseok stopped and looked over his shoulder.
Seokjin was making his way over to where they were, just a few steps away from
the stairway they had to take to go back to their floor. Hoseok inwardly
sighed, already irritated with the officer. He had a great dislike for Seokjin
for he seemed so dishonest. He irked Hoseok.
“No…” started Hoseok. He tried to sound as believable as he could but he knew
he couldn’t fool Seokjin easily. “Yoongi’s just tired. He helped me with school
all afternoon and it took a great toll on him.” He flashed a forced smile
Seokjin’s way, turning to leave. Unfortunately Seokjin was smarter than he
hoped.
“Well, Hoseok, let me escort him to the nurses’ office” smiled sweetly Seokjin.
“This has happened before since he always tires himself out… The nurses give
him some vitamins and he always gets better.” He reached for Yoongi’s arm who
flinched away. Seokjin looked impatient and wrenched Yoongi out of Hoseok’s
hold. That’s when Yoongi started sobbing again.
“No! Puh-please, please I didn’t do anything wrong... “ cried Yoongi as he
tried to free his arm. “I haven’t been naughty…” weeped he in a childish voice,
snot and tears mingling together as Seokjin held him. Yoongi looked so pitiable
at that moment Hoseok almost wanted to look away.
He was just standing there, forzen as he watched the scene unfold in front of
him. Seokjin seemed disturbed, as if Yoongi’s disobedience was a completely new
thing to him. Hoseok believed that was the case. Yoongi was always obedient but
now he was trashing around violently trying to get away. Hoseok couldn’t bear
this anymore.
“L-let him go!” said Hoseok loudly and tried to take a hold of Yoongi’s free
arm. Seokjin whipped around and shoved Hoseok with such force he fell backwards
on his ass.
“I’m going to tell you this only once and I swear to God if you don’t do as I
say…” hissed Seokjin. “You’re going to go up to your room and into your fucking
bed and shut the fuck up or else you’re going to regret it… I can assure you,
you don’t want me to be angry at you, Hoseok” finished Seokjin then turned and
dragged Yoongi away.
Hoseok was already crying when he got back to his room. He was so scared for
Yoongi and he didn’t know what Seokjin was doing to him at that moment. He felt
a strong nausea wash over him so he rushed to the toilet and emptied his
stomach. He retched for a long time, and only when he was completely empty did
he stand up.
He rinsed his mouth then brushed his teeth to get the disgusting taste out of
his mouth. He got under his covers, shivering. He was so terrified. Seokjin was
acting like he was the one who belonged in a prison. He dragged away Yoongi
like the small boy was his property…
Hoseok sobbed into his pillow. He hoped Yoongi was coming back soon or else he
was losing his mind. Yoongi was the only one making him feel better in this
shitty place and if they take him away from Hoseok… He’s going to be ruined.
Hoseok cried himself to sleep.

Daft hands shook Hoseok awake. He flinched hard, heart almost jumping out of
his chest, almost screaming at the top of his lungs when he saw Yoongi kneeling
next to his bed.
He looked awful. His face was terribly swollen, eyes puffy and red from crying,
his mouth bitten bloody. His hair and clothes looked disheveled as if he only
dressed up just now. He was clutching Hoseok’s hand hard with both hands.
Hoseok teared up again.
“Are you okay? Oh my god…” cried Hoseok as he sat up pulling Yoongi up the bed
next to him. Hoseok was so emotionally drained, from what has happened at the
showers to Seokjin threatening him… It was just too much. He had never
experienced such things happening and he was confused and angry. He hated not
being able to help somebody, and he had just let Yoongi down when he needed it
the most.
Yoongi let himself be cradled, though Hoseok felt him trying to keep a space
between them. Hoseok wanted to hug Yoongi as tightly as he could but he didn’t
want to cause another panic attack to the other boy.
“Hey, don’t cry, I’m okay.” Yoongi turned to Hoseok and took his hand that was
clutching his face. Hoseok looked at Yoongi’s face and almost started bawling
again. The small boy just looked so tired and hurt he couldn’t bare it.
“What the fuck happened back there?” asked Hoseok searching for Yoongi’s eyes.
Yoongi wasn’t looking at him, rather at the blanket they were sitting on.
“Seokjin… He had just misinterpreted the situation. He was worried about my
well being and we weren’t cooperating, that’s why he had to turn to desperate
measures. We are lucky he didn’t write our disobedience into a report.” Yoongi
was talking so robotically Hoseok was certain that this little ‘speech’ was
taught to him.
“Why are you trying to lie to me? We both know that’s not what has happened…”
Hoseok was desperately trying to make Yoongi trust in him more. “Please Yoongi.
I was so worried about you I could barely fall asleep and I had only managed to
do it at all because I tired myself out by crying.”
Yoongi seemed to have cracked. Tears were slowly pouring down his face making
talking even harder for Hoseok. “Just… Just talk to me, please. I like you so
much and I don’t want you to hurt” said Hoseok squeezing Yoongi’s hand.
Yoongi nodded and stood up going to the sink and washing his face. When he
returned and climbed in next to Hoseok who laid down as well.
“I… I can’t tell you with you staring at me” whispered Yoongi. He moved and
made Hoseok turn to his side so he could cuddle up to his back. Yoongi pressed
his face between Hoseok’s shoulder blades and started talking.
“I don’t want you to look at me differently after I tell you what happened now.
And what’s been happening… “ whispered Yoongi. “Please don’t start acting
differently, okay?”
“Yoongi, you’re scaring me” muttered Hoseok. Yoongi just buried his face into
his back.
“When I got here I was very stubborn and I didn’t follow rules. At all” started
Yoongi in a soft voice. His hands were clutching Hoseok’s t-shirt, occasionally
pulling it slightly. “I tried to run away many times and…” Hoseok heared Yoongi
started crying again. “And… Seokjin… Uhm…” he was struggling with his words,
pushing his face into Hoseok’s back. Hoseok’s heart was pounding. “He wanted to
punish me for acting out. His way of punishing me, though, was different than
the others.” Hoseok turned around pulling Yoongi close. Yoongi’s arms snaked
around his waist, holding onto for dear life.
“He… He lets them touch me when I’ve been bad” whispered Yoongi. Hoseok stopped
breathing.
“Whom does he let touch you?” asked Hoseok, feeling disgust rise in him.
“The guards.” Hoseok’s stomach turned. Yoongi was crying into his shirt hiding
his face.
“That happened today too?” asked Hoseok quietly.
“Y-yeah… They, they forced me into their laps and… touched me and they made me
sit on my knees and they made me su-” Yoongi was hyperventilating, clutching
his own hair. Hoseok dragged him up to the sink opening cold water and
splashing it on Yoongi’s face.
They stood there for ten minutes until Yoongi calmed down enough to drink a bit
of water. Hoseok grabbed a towel and dried Yoongi’s flaming face. They went
back to the bed and laid down again, this time Yoongi being the one hugged from
behind. Hoseok still felt sick to his stomach and he couldn’t stop thinking.
“But why are you the only one who’s being… abused like this?” Hoseok couldn’t
find a more fitting word. Yes, Yoongi was being abused.
“Because he knows why I'm here” said Yoongi tiredly. “He knows and he helps
them get away with… with putting me here. He’s a loyal dog and he helps them by
keeping me in fear so I won’t talk after I get out… If I get out of here”
finished Yoongi and closed his eyes.
Hoseok was terribly shocked. He didn’t know what to say so he remained silent.
So Yoongi’s abuse is connected to why he’s in reformatory thought Hoseok. Who
are 'they'? He turned his head to ask Yoongi about the reason he was in the
facility, but he found the small boy sleeping.
Hoseok couldn’t go to sleep for a long time but when he did it was full of
nightmares.

***** Not an update *****
Hi guys.
I'm sorry this isn't an update and I can't say there will be any soon. I'm not
abandoning this, don't worry, I'm just struggling with a lot of things.
My mental illnesses make everything harder and the fact that I'm not getting
help and that I have no friends makes everything harder. I've lost all
motivation to write, I haven't even turned on my laptop in over a month.
I'm also graduating this year and school is taking its toll on me. Every
thought is about how I'm gonna fail it and how I'm a failure for being stupid
and lazy.
I love Bangtan the same way I did always and I'm going to support them through
everything. I also adore Hoseok and Yoongi and there's not a day I don't think
about their cute little ship.
I hope you can understand and forgive me for leaving you hanging. I hope if you
read this you won't hate me. I love y'all.
